Willa’s Story

(May 09) This little girl has captured our hearts with her sweet and loving nature. She is already very turned on to her stock and is showing great promise. She balances nicely and rates her stock at the young age of 8 mo. She is comfortable pulling them off a fence line as well. She shows the power, style, and intensity of her parents and she is very biddable. Generally one correction is all it takes to show her what not to do. She is a thinker and when corrected, tends to think about what she needs to change. I expect her to settle in to regular work easily and quickly once we get serious about working in a few more months.

(May 2012) Biddable could be Willa’s middle name! She is a gritty little girl, but at the end of the day, she wants to please and is sensitive enough to adjust her behavior! She came out very strong on her first trialing weekend, winning most of her classes and with two High in Trial Started awards out of the 3 trials! She scored a 95 on some very tough cattle! Cattle seem to be her favorite class of stock just like her daddy, Winslow! She too has been extremely quick to learn obedience and rally exercises and execute them with precision! A fun little dog that is sweet and loving with everyone she meets.
