Why take a clinic? A clinic is an intensive learning experience for you and your dog. You get to take in a large amount of training in a short period of time. This generally means you gain faster strides in your training that you can’t do with weekly lessons. You also get the benefits of watching other people work their dogs; hear their questions as well as the answers to their problems. It’s likely you will have the same problem with your dog one day! It’s all done in a fun and laid back environment as well. Participants get instructed on the fundamentals of stock and herding concepts. Those concepts get talked about and demonstrated and all dogs get worked at the level each dog and handler requires.
Come join the fun and learning!

Australian Trip July 2013
I was invited to go to Australia to judge their National Herding Event, which was hosted by Dogs Victoria. In addition, I was also asked to conduct two herding clinics and multiple private lessons. In between these assignments, I was able to meet some wonderful Australian people and experience the incredible hospitality they extended to me and my daughter. We also had the opportunity to see a bit of the state of Victoria which we found to be a very beautiful place. It was a real pleasure to work with the people and their dogs and help them move forward in their training efforts.
“BELLISIMO SHE’S AWESOME”
“We found Linda to be an excellent trainer and educator and best of all, we came home with some training tips specific for our two Kelpies”.
“Wow, it all made sense – I wish I was told this years ago, and I’ve got homework as well”.
Herding Clinics and an AHBA Trial! Finland July 2009
During her stay in Finland Linda met almost 100 dogs in 9 clinic sessions. There was also a cattle clinic at a big Finnish farm for Border Collies and Working Kelpies. At the AHBA trial Linda served as judge for 70 dogs, including some very rare breeds.

Border Collie, Mia
This is Mia, Susan Hays’ dog, that I trained and trialed to all her titles. She got her started sheep titles easily, winning first place in all her classes, in October 2004. Then in Oct. 9-10th, 2005, Stonewall, TX she earned High in Trial Other Breed, three times! And she got her WTCH!!! We were very proud of “our” little BC! She showed lots of talent and was so much fun to trial! In 2008, we continued our trialing adventures in both Border Collie Association trials and AKC herding events. She earned her HIBs title in AKC. She has since finished her AKC title of HSXs and is now enjoying her retirement.
